"We have used designers in the past when building a house and also redecorating. We bought this house new 19 years ago and experienced a water leak that damaged the kitchen and adjacent rooms. Repairing the damage was going to be a large project and we decided that long term thoughts on making some changes would work into this project. We worked with Stevie on a full kitchen redesign, upgrading all appliances, repairing almost 2000 sq feet of wood flooring, changing wood flooring for tile, re-carpet 3 rooms, re-design 3 bathrooms, installing French doors in the master bedroom, painting the houses interior and exterior, building an outdoor BBQ , new window treatments and blending all of this during the Covid pandemic. Needless to say we needed help. Stevie had an ability to understand what we wanted and responding to those ideas, but also introducing new ideas to this process. Her ability to visualize how an area might work and explain in concise terms helped us in the decision process. She not only brought in new ideas but also products and colors that were more up to date for this 20 year old house. The process incurred many delays with product supply chain issues and tradesmen being overextended on multiple projects. Through it all, Stevie was always available and would make many calls to the trade to get things rolling and back on track. Her decision making was quick and to the point. We now have the same old house that feels and looks brand new, everything works as planned and it’s more comfortable than we had imagined. I told her she should be proud of what she had done….because we are."
